Borderline: A Capture Game ("the App," "we," "us") is a single-player and local two-player board game for iOS. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices — in plain language.
The App does not require an account, does not collect your name, email, or any personal profile information, and does not track you across other apps or websites. The only data handling involved comes from displaying non-personalized advertising through Google AdMob, and a small amount of gameplay data (win/loss counts) stored only on your device.
The App keeps a simple win/loss counter for your games, stored locally on your device using Apple's standard local storage (UserDefaults). This information never leaves your device, is not sent to us or to any third party, and is deleted automatically if you delete the App.
The App displays banner ads through Google's AdMob service to keep the App free. Ad requests are configured as non-personalized — we do not request or use your Advertising Identifier, and ads are not targeted based on your personal profile or browsing history.
To serve any ad at all, however, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process some technical information as part of the ad request itself, such as:

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.
We do not sell your information. We do not share any information with third parties ourselves, beyond the ad-serving process described above, which is handled directly between your device and Google's Mobile Ads SDK.
Since the App does not create a profile of you or track you across other apps or services, there is no personalized account data to request, export, or delete beyond the local win/loss counter already described — which you can clear at any time by deleting the App.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add new features that affect data handling. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above.
